Try St.Augustine beach on the Atlantic side.Very nice location for family, the kids,couples,walks....lots of sand, surf & clean beaches. So many times i thought the beach was all mine cuz there are so many undisturbed areas in & around the St. Augustine beaches.Been there many times & will continue to visit until im able to relocate there in my future...The Salt Life...my favorite :) Rick & Janet from Memthis,Tn.

Sanibel Island is one of the best beaches I have ever been too. A little pricey but well worth it! Great restaurants, too! Peace and quiet. A true vacation spot!

Conde Nast wrote an article last fall naming the beach on Longboat Key Florida as being one of the best in the world. Longboat Key is on the Gulf of Mexico - just outside of Sarasota, near Tampa. Perhaps this is the beach you are looking for.
