Magic Kingdom
Highlights of this original theme park include:
- Pirates of the Caribbean: This classic ride has been enhanced to include characters and scenes from the hit movie.
- Monsters, Inc Comedy Club: This fun-for-all-ages show will leave everyone laughing.
- Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin: Anyone can be a hero and use the laser cannon to save the universe from the evil Zurg.
Epcot Center
Explore all the wonders this world has to offer - beneath the ocean or above the stratosphere. Highlights include:
- Seas with Nemo and Friends: Witness the real-life counterparts to the friendly fish from Finding Nemo. Fun for small fry of all ages.
- Mission: SPACE: Two levels of intensity let you be in control of the mission. The out-of-this-world flight will have you darting around meteors and venturing through nebulae.
Disney's Animal Kingdom
Animals, both real and imagined, make this theme park a must-see for those who want to explore the natural wonders of planet Earth. Highlights include:
- Kilimanjaro Safaris: Open-sided vehicles take you on an African expedition. Stay alert. The savannah is alive with lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, rhinos -- and even evil poachers.
- Dinosaurs: With a Time Rover that sends you back to the prehistoric era, you have only minutes to rescue a stray dinosaur. Sounds easy? A meat-eating predator and earth-shattering asteroid stand in your way.
Disney's MGM Studios
Hooray for Hollywood. This park honors the world of entertainment. Take the lead in your own rock 'n' roll fantasy or Broadway production. Be a shining star on the silver or small screen. Highlights include:
- Twilight Zone Tower of Terror: Only the bravest should board the phantom elevator that rockets 13 stories high. Think you know what happens next? There's a ghost in the machine and the Tower itself is in control - it's never the same fright twice.
- Beauty and the Beast - Live on Stage: Join Belle and her friends. This musical has all the costumes and special effects of the Broadway production, but this time you can sing along.
Disney Water Parks
Waterslides, wave pools, river rapids and beautiful beaches await. Disney Water Parks add a splash of excitement to what Disney does best - fantastic storytelling in a family-friendly world of make believe. With two theme parks to choose from, how do you decide?
- Disney's Blizzard Beach: The world's tallest waterslide, family-friendly raft rides, white sand beaches and seven waterslides of varying levels make this a great way for the whole family to cool down.
- Disney's Typhoon Lagoon: Thrills and spills make this fun for everyone. Super-sized wave pools, snorkeling and "tubular" surf lessons round out the nine waterslides.
Beyond Disney
Believe it or not, there are theme parks in Florida that haven't sprung from Disney's creative team. The aptly named and very affordable Wet 'n' Wild will help you beat the heat without breaking the budget. With thrill rides, slides, flumes and a wake zone, this park has all the water fun you can handle.
